Fresh Perspective
For Newcomer Youth (12+)
Fresh Perspective is a specialized financial, employment and life skills program designed to facilitate the participation of newcomer youth in meaningful mentorship, personal development and employment related engagements.
Fresh Perspective’s vision is threefold:
- Improving economic independence through financial education.
- Improving education through access to quality training.
- Improving secure employment through professional connections.
Our program enhances foundational and transferable skills, reduces barriers to employment, provides access to valuable real-world experiences and prepares newcomer youth for leadership roles within their community. Program is individual based, goal driven, inclusive, and most of all supports the needs of newcomer youth.
As a community, we have come far when supporting our diverse youth. We recognize barriers still exist within traditional education, volunteer and work settings. Our priority is to deliver an inclusive, specialized program that is holistic, experiential and barrier free allowing newcomer youth to grow personally and professionally.
We are ready to partner with individuals, employers and community organizations who are ready to join our amazing journey of inclusion. We believe in innovation and as a result we do things differently. Status quo is no longer good enough for fair, just and equitable communities. We are here and ready to collaborate with others aligned with this mission and value.
